The SIWES Coordinator of Nigeria's no 1 E-University today organized a 2 hours SIWES orientation programe for all the students of the school who will be embarkng on the 6 months compulsory IT programme in different areas of specialization as requested by the NUC.
The
programme titled 'The role of Science and Technology in the 21st Century
Nigeria This orientation was aimed at educating the students on the
importance of the IT Programme and the do's and don'ts of the programme
as most students do not undergo this programme and even some pay people
money to fill and sign their log books without knowing the consequences
of these kind of acts. The coordinators of the programme advised that
anyone who does not understand anything about SIWES should not hesitate
to walk into the SIWES offices of the different departments in the
school to get more info.
