Rivers State University of Science and Technology begins to get busy and bubble again as students return back to campus to kick off 2nd semester lectures.
The students who were supposed to return to school on the 4th of April, 2016 but did not return because the resumption was post pone to Monday 11th April, 2016 due to the school convocation ceremony said they were happy to hear the news and enjoyed the extra one week that was given to them to relax at home.
According to some of them "We miss mummy's food", family members and relatives and returning back to school now will bring back the memories of drinking garri, eating without meat, eating beans and bread almost 3 times a day and the stress of the Aluta struggle.
Meanwhile they said they are happy to return because they missed the school and their friends and are still expecting their first semester result.
The students also went further to say one interesting thing they like about second semester is the SUG week that will kick off in few weeks time as part of the extra curricular activity of the school.
