The 28th convocation ceremony of Rivers State University of Science and Technology
which long started on the 3rd of April 2016 with a thanksgiving service to God at the Chapel of Redemption RSUST, continued on the 6th April, 2016 with a Convocation Exhibition which took place at the Amphitheatre.
The exhibition was declared open by the Ag. Vice Chancellor of the university Prof. Blessing Chimezie Didia by cutting of the Exhibition cake, fully accompanied by the Deputy Vice Chancellor and other members of the School Administrative system. The exhibition was carried out by various departments of the seven faculties including the Institute of Pollution Studies (IPS) and Institute of Foundation Studies (IFS). The exhibition was a wonderful one as the Ag. Vice Chancellor moved round departmental stands to see and commend on what the various departments came to showcase.

The Exhibition was followed by a Graduand’s Night at about 5:00pm same day, which was organized for the outgoing students at the convocation Arena where the students were celebrated and awards presented to those who served in various capacities in the SUG by the incumbent SUG Executives. One of such awards was that presented to the former SUG president (Emeritus Presido) in the person of Comr. Christian Odua who was appreciated for the achievements recorded during his tenure. The event ended with a closing remark from the SUG President Comr. Faith Nnaa and a closing prayer by the SUG Secretary General.
