In view to make student unionism a reality the student Union Government of the Rivers State University
of science and Technology yesterday commissioned some of its projects.
The Union led by the Ag. President in the person of Comr. Faith
Nnaa, commissioned projects which ranged from Road signs, bill boards for
hostels, office furniture for the office of the Dean of Students Affairs (DSA)
and associate. The Newly built SUG office complex for executives was also
commissioned as it was one the major projects done by the administration.
The Ag. President of the union in the person of Comr. Faith
Nnaa while speaking, commended the vice chancellor and the Dean of Students
Affairs for giving the Union a full support that
Present at the event was the vice chancellor of the
university in the person of Prof. Didia blessing represented by the Ag. Dean of
students’ Affairs in the person of Dr. Isaac Zeb-Obipi.
The Vice chancellor in his speech applauded the union for
embarking and completing the projects. In his speech, he urged the incoming
executives to do more as his administration is a goalgettering one.
Also present were the newly elected SUG president in the
person of Cmr. Daniel Daminabo and his newly executives.
