It's exactly twenty-seven (12/9/2016) days and some hours since the Students Union Government at the Rivers State University of Science and Technology confirmed the then rumor that the Institution had taken a decision to increase school fess come the 2016/2017 academic session.

However, there have been gaps in information dissemination from the Student Union Government to the Students' Community.
Few days after the press released was made, students began to blast the student union Government for not making it known when it was needed. Also, some accused them of been skeptical of the economic condition of the state.
On the 20th of August 2016, the student Union Government told the student community to disregard any statement issued by any person or organisation if contrary to the one made by the union: (READ IT HERE). Meanwhile the Union has failed to give it stance as regards the said matter.

Freshers and Returning students of the institution are all confused as they awaite the Official Press Release from the school management.
Till now the Student Union Government are yet to make another press release so we the Students' community can tell our parents the ACTUAL CHANGE we are in. All we have been seeing from them is 'SELFIE' on their facebook timelines.
