You can now aply for the 2015 Fully-funded PhD Studentship in Engineering at Swansea University, UK. Swansea University’s College of Engineering provides a fantastic study environment for postgraduate students. The Research Excellence Framework (REF) 2014 ranks Engineering at Swansea as 10th in the UK for the combined score in research quality across the Engineering disciplines.
This scholarship is funded by, and is part of, The National Research Network in Advanced Engineering and Materials (AEM), which is a transformative alliance that will enhance fundamental and applied research. UK/EU and international students can apply for this studentship.
Scholarship Value
The studentship covers the full cost of UK/EU tuition fees, plus a tax free stipend of £14,562 p.a. There will also be additional funds available for research expenses and conference attendance.
Eligibility:
Looking for qualified candidates that are imaginative, driven and ambitious. Applicants should hold or be completing an undergraduate honours degree with a 1st or a 2.1 classification.
• Degrees in all areas of chemistry (especially electrochemistry), materials science, engineering, and other related subjects will be considered.
• UK/EU and international students are welcome to apply, though only UK/EU fees are covered by this studentship.
• International students will be required to pay the difference between UK/EU and international fees.
