University of Science and Technology, Port Harcourt where Comr. Godgift Celestine Nwogu (GCN) and Director of Sports SUG-RSUST presented a gift as a unique symbol of identification and respect (a Flag) to her Founder Comr. Daminabo Alali Daniel (DAD) who is also the new boss and president of the Student Union Government (SUG), Rivers State University of Science and Technology.
In his speech, Comr. Godgift Celestine Nwogu (GCN) said he sees Comr. Daminabo Alali Daniel not just as a philanthropist but also as a leader of the 21st Century while urging other Nigerian youths to emulate his footsteps and see themselves as leaders of today not leaders of tomorrow and stop being deceived by politicians. He went further to say that the passion for value and service to humanity in him was also what he saw in DAD that has made him outstanding as a young man and a man who deserves an honour. He said the Flag which bears the colours of RSUST and the DAD Foundation logo is a symbol of strength, purity, productivity, patriotism and service to humanity for Comr. Daminabo Alali Daniel as the Grand Commander in Chief of all the Aluta Forces in RSUST and also the founder of the DAD foundation which has helped touch the lives of people in just one year and will do much more in years to come.
He further went ahead to read from the scriptures the book of Psalms 20:5 and made some prayers for the SUG Boss and founder of DAD foundation that as long as that flag keeps standing in his office so he will stand out all through all his endeavors against all hurdles and challenge of any kind he might face as an individual, as President of the SUG and as founder of DAD Foundation.
The SUG President and founder of the DAD foundation on his own part appreciated the honour and gift of the Comrade saying he was impressed and happy because has also seen a young man who is value and purpose driven just like him who could buy into the ideology of DAD foundation of selfless service to our nation. The SUG boss went further to make Comr. Godgift Celestine Nwogu (GCN) a member of the DAD foundation without having to pass through official protocols and procedures of becoming a member of the Foundation.
Comr. Godgift Celestine Nwogu (GCN) thanked DAD for seeing him worthy of being a member of his foundation and to keep the trail blazing because the sky is his starting point.
