After booking my flight to Port Harcourt, I learned that the talk I was giving was in the morning and not the afternoon as planned. I called the airline to see if I could bump up my flight and was told I would have to pay the increase in fare, since it had gone up. It was pretty hefty and I didn't feel it was worth it. Not a big a deal, I thought, I'll use the day to connect with folks and then head to the airport early and get some work done.<br />
<br />
Fast forward to my travel day to Port Harcourt. I was flying Southwest and it was my first time flying with them. I knew there wasn't business class on these flights, but had no idea that bumping up to "A class" meant you got to move to the front of the security line AND pick your seat. I also didn't realize being in "C class" meant you picked your seat last! I was in "C class" and the lesson was learned.<br />
<br />
While I was waiting to be called, I started envisioning how I wanted to experience the plane ride. I wanted a window seat and wanted to be cozy. I also wanted the person next to me to be respectful of my space. We've all been next to those folks who take up the entire shared armrest!<br />
<br />
I boarded the plane and got closer and closer to the back. I still felt like it was all going to work out. The woman in front of me panicked and went for a middle seat. Out of the corner of my eye I saw the window seat. Yes!!! I moved in and created exactly what I wanted. It was a full flight and I still can't believe there was a window seat left! I was happy, cozy and sat next to the sweetest couple who were very respective of the arm rest.<br />

What's interesting is before boarding the flight; I grabbed a healthy lunch from a zenned out eatery. I thanked the cashier and told him I loved the love beads he was wearing and then left him a big tip. He smiled so bright!<br />
<br />
Coincidence? I don't think so. As I'm always saying, what we put out we will get back. I didn't give him a tip for the purpose of getting a good seat on the plane - I had no idea at that point how it worked with Southwest. It just felt good to be nice.<br />
<br />
Fast forward to the next day after I gave my talk. I hung around for a little while talking to some great folks and to have lunch. I ended up having the most inspired conversations and was so thankful to be given the opportunity to speak. When everyone went into the next session, I though maybe I'll try the airline one more time. Well what happened next was nothing short of a miracle. She said there was a seat and the fare had gone down so I would be given a $90 refund!!! I booked it and continued to the airport.<br />
<br />
I called Uber and then had the most fascinating conversation with a driver who is originally from Pakistan. We ended up having the deepest conversation about how he an his and his family are Christian, and their children would not have survived if they stayed. Like literally survived. Christian Pakistanis are not being given jobs and are being killed. His daughter who is special needs would have been kidnapped and raped if they had stayed. This is what is happening over there. Although, I'm still not sure what to do with this information, I do know it makes my mission for world peace even stronger. AND because of this string of events, I also get to share it with you to spread awareness.<br />
<br />
We said our good-byes and I proceeded through security. There was no line - I had just missed it by 20-minutes. I got to the gate and immediately bumped up to this "A class" that was so necessary. The flight was completely full and I have no idea just how I even got a seat!<br />
<br />
Well, I do know how. It's because I asked and I felt good enough to receive. I gave where I could and received some pretty cool miracles as a result.<br />
<br />
Pretty cool right?!<br />
<br />
Just remember, the universe knows no size of miracles. Only we put constraints on them because of our own limited viewpoint. We can create the most ginormous things in our life, and also remember sometimes it's the smallest miracles that have the biggest impact. I got to share this story with my kids and they are now learning this as a way of life.<br />

Most ladies, if not all, will sneer fulsomely at the thought of going out with a broke guy not because it's the dream of every girl to date a wealthy guy but because they feel rich guys are less problematic.<br /><br />As a matter, most broke guys can be sometimes problematic as it requires a lot of patience, endurance and total obedience in order to deal with them in relationships.<br /><br />Without wasting time, below are the unbearable ways some broke guys usually treat women.<br /><br />1. He Nags at the mention of Money<br /><br />The best way a lady can find a way into the heart of a broke guy is to avoid asking him for money. By so doing, the guy will shower her love as he sees her as someone who loves him for whom he is. When a lady demands unnecessarily from him, the guy will see her as a money monger and may be forced to throw punches at her.<br /><br />2. He only shows love in the Bedroom<br /><br />They feel buying shakara or pepper soup for their babe is extravagant spending and you hear stuffs like *me I can't waste my money on Mr. Biggs. Any lady that can't eat in my house is not a wife material* Thier only way of showing love and affection to their girlfriends is through their joysticks cheesy<br /><br />3. He gets Angry over irrelevant things<br /><br />Most broke guys seem to be very harsh that they quarrel over irrelevant things so that their girlfriends will pay loyalty to them. When their girlfriends misbehave, they are quick to make reference to the fact that it's because they're broke that they are being disrespected.<br /><br />4. He Becomes FBI<br /><br />As a chronic broke guy from birth till now, I think can relate to this, in the sense that, broke guys do not really trust their girlfriends that much because they feel the possibility of being cheated on is very high as they're not man enough to their basic needs. By the reason of this, they check the phone of their girlfriends for suspicious whatsapp messages, incoming and outgoing calls just to accuse them of infidelity.<br /><br />5. He forcefully collects back his gifts when the Lady offends Him<br /><br />As funny as it sounds, some guys spend their hard earned money on ladies just to command total obedience and faithfulness. If the lady messes up, the guy will be forced to collect back his money or gift. I remember when I bought an okrika shoe for my girlfriend sometime last year, she began to misbehave the following day and I collected the shoe from her and gave it to my younger sister.<br /><br />6. They go in search of another lady when they become Rich<br /><br />Another unbearable way some broke guys treat ladies is that they will dump the ass of that girl that have been staying with them through trying times. This is because they feel she no longer match their standard<br /><br />7. He Denies Impregnating his Girlfriend<br /><br />A research which was conducted last year shows that 90% of broke guys who impregnate their girlfriends are most likely to deny it. For those who cannot deny, they will blame the lady for carelessness and will opt for abortion without even giving her a kobo<br /><br />8. He only shows Love on Valentine's Day<br /><br />To be very frank and sincere, valentine's day is not the only way to show love to a woman. Some broke guys only take their girlfriends on dates only during special occasions like Christmas or her birthday while some will break up to avoid spending<br /><br />9. They tell their girlfriends to go for low cut whenever money is required for making hair<br /><br />Some of them can't even follow their girlfriends to the salon because of the fear of paying. This is an unbearable way of showing love to a lady<br /><br />10.They Flash Incessantly<br /><br />I have guys in my villa who incessantly flash ladies as if their lives depend on them. The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), has stated that they would embark on a warning strike over failure by the Federal Government to implement the 2009 Agreement and 2013 MoU.<br /><br />According to the ASUU National President, Prof. Biodun Ogunyemi, who spoke during a press conference on Monday at the University of Abuja, the strike would last one week.<br /><br />Ogunyemi said following a nation-wide consultation with members, the National Executive Council (NEC) of ASUU  resolved to embark on a one week warning strike from Wednesday Nov.16.<br /><br />“Many aspects of the 2013 MoU and the 2009 Agreement with the Federal Government have either been unimplemented or despairingly handled.<br /><br />“The agreements are: Payments of staff entitlements since December 2015, funding of universities for revitalisation, pension, TSA and university autonomy and renegotiation of 2009 Agreement.<br /><br />“Failure by the Federal Government to implement this agreement has put ASUU leadership in severe difficulty, responding to inquiries from members of the union about the state of our agreement,’’ he said.<br /><br />The ASUU president said that during the warning strike, there shall be no teaching, examination and no attendance at statutory meetings in all branches.<br /><br />He, however, called on all education-loving Nigerians to prevail on the Federal Government to address the patriotic demands of ASUU until the Nigerian university system is repositioned.<br /><br />“With the release of the 2016 Annual Budget, our union wondered aloud why allocation to education dropped from 11 per cent in 2015 to eight per cent in 2016.<br /><br />“With the introduction of TSA, the federal universities find it extremely difficult to discharge their core responsibilities of teaching, research and community services.<br /><br />“We tried to correct the erroneous impression in government circles that the capital and research grants to universities were being handled by the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund),’’ he said.<br />

PRESS RELEASE<br /><br />COMMUNIQUE ISSUED BY THE NATIONAL UNION OF RIVERS STATE STUDENTS (NURSS), ON MONDAY, 7TH NOVEMBER ,2016.AFTER AN EMERGENCY CONGRESS .<br />The NURSS Executives, the NURSS Parliamentarians,VariousBlocHeads, NURSS Seniorstake holders and other NURSS Comrades, held a joint meeting consequent upon the actions and policies of the StudentsUnion Government (SUG).<br />This is to inform the Student Union Government (SUG), that the National Union of Rivers State Students is not happy with such policies , which include:<br />1. Imposing a COMPULSORYdiary fee on all students<br />2. Blocking the pages of students forthe above mentioned fee<br />3. Increment in the cost transportation on campus<br /><br />OUR STAND:<br />1. The National Union of Rivers State Students condemns the act of imposing a COMPULSORY diary on the stuents<br />2. We condemn the act of blocking the pages of all students for a COMPULSORY diary fee.<br />3. Lastely, we condemn the increment of transportation on campus.<br /><br />OUR DEMANDS:<br />1. The National Union of Rivers State Students demands that the pages of students be unblocked and let them have access to their pages<br />2. We demand that the COMPULSORYdiary fee shouldn’t be imposed on the students and that the purchase of the diary should be based on discretion.<br />3. Lastly, we demand that the cost of transportation be returned back to its status-quo, it should move from N40 back to N30.<br /><br />The National Union of Rivers State Students (NURSS) is giving an ULTIMATUM of 48 hours, starting from today Monday14thNovember, 2016. to Wednesday 16th November, 2016. C. J Chinwo, who spoke on a brief history of law department in which he stated that two  Governors in Nigeria (Rivers and Bayelsa) were students of the faculty. </div>
