INTRODUCTION
A Public Relations Officer sometimes called the Director Of Publicity is a person that crafts public images, co-ordinates public events, contests and organises publicity of a particular organisation. It is in the view of this, haven had the conviction to serve this prestigious university with a goal oriented intention that I present myself to you, that through your votes and unflinching support, I shall have the legitimacy to serve.
My aspiration  for the Public Relations Officer is not vision crippled rather it is heavily embedded with passion, confidence and hard work as such if elected as Public Relations Officer of the Student Union Government, I shall with embark on the following people centered programs and projects.

SUG EMPOWERMENT CONFERENCE: My office with the consent of the other cabinet members shall organise an SUG empowerment conference and it is going to be the first of its kind in the history of the university at large. it is aimed at creating a platform for interaction and information sharing between students, the union and the school management, it shall feature speakers and paper presentation from resource personal from each faculty. The said conference shall enable students to be updated on the latest inventions and modus operandi of their various disciplines as well as create a roburst relationship between them and their professional bodies
REFORMATION AND REBRANDING OF RSUST NEWSPAPER
My office with the consent of the already existing school Newspaper and information authorities shall rebrand and reform the school Newspaper so it will encompass stories around RSUST and the outside world. It will also include Fashion, Sports, Business, and Entertainment News that will interest our Students.


          PROPER MANAGEMENT AND MONITORING OF PUBLICITY FACULITIES AND EQUIPMENTS
    My office with the consent of the other members of the cabinet shall ensure a fair management and monitoring of every publicity equipment/facilities that belongs to this great university. I observed that  the radio operates only on lectures hours and as a result students are usually busy and don’t follow up the programs but my office shall move for an extension of closure time and shall also reform and update the radio programs in a way that will promote excellence and creativity as this is in line with the motto of this institution. We shall also push towards enabling these facilities to start generating revenue for the school by liaising with external agencies and clients.

          CREATION OF AN ACTIVE OFFICIAL WEBSITE FOR THE UNION: We shall launch an official SUG Website this will serve as a platform for the school management, students and the general public to get informations as regard the proceedings of the administration as this would make the union accessible.

          ACADEMIC AND SOCIAL COMPETITIONS: My office in collaboration with the necessary authorities shall organise quiz competitions and  symposiums and shall create a platform where students can showcase their talents through  music, audio-drama, talk-shows and debates and winners will be encouraged with awards/prizes.

         PUBLICATION OF STUDNETS HANDOOKS: My office shall publish a comprehensive handbook that would include an updated map of RSUST, the history of RSUST, remarkable dates and events, shortcuts on how to accurately calculate students CGPA, the principal officers of the university, student leaders both past and present and lots more.

POLITICAL SENSITIZATION PROGRAMS: My officer shall embark on political sensitization of our students to arouse their political consciousness and ensure their effective participation in students unionism in the university and as a panacea to building leadership qualities and opportunities in our students as they can explore such leadership traits in them. By doing so we shall have more SUG, NURSS, and NANS Representatives as well other key student’s position in the university and beyond. 

    INFORMATION CIRCULATION AND GENGERAL PUBLICITY: My office shall make information circulation and general publicity our priority with this in place, we shall strive to achieve that which we have set out for ourselves to achieve. The law of concentration and consistency shall be our watch why holding God to high esteem having availed ourselves to serve the common good of the people and this shall reflect in our policies, conduct and pursuit.
