1.
The successfully screened 140 delegates, 2 SUG
officers, the candidates, 5 representatives of Man ‘O War, 1 NURSS officer, and
2 students’ representatives of UST media will vote at the Amphitheatre. The students
outside the delegates at the Amphitheatre are allowed to vote at the
Amphitheatre because they would not be allowed to leave the Amphitheatre when
voting starts.
2.
Accreditation of these persons at the
Amphitheatre will start by 9.00 on Friday, 24th June, 2016 in other
of first come, first served and end by 11.00am.
3.
Because this is the first “e-voting” (eV)
experience in UST, the delegate, essentially, constitute the Control Room; and
as such the Amphitheatre will serve as the Control Room for the e-voting
exercise.
4.
Voting at the Amphitheatre would be done through
online access provided by the Electoral committee.
5.
Voting will start by 11:30pm. Announcement of
results follow immediately.
B.
VOTING BY NON-DELEGATES
1.
Every registered RSUST student in the current
session anywhere that has online access could vote.
2.
For those who might not have online access or
need help, the Electoral committee has created an “e-Voting centre” (eVC) in
each faculty with a number of Electronic processing Agents who are registered
with the University.
3.
Each of these Agents would provide an online
access and assistance to any student who needs such to be able to vote between
11.30am and 3.00pm
4.
Each of them have been accredited as “e-polling
Agents” (ePA) by the electoral committee.
5.
The ePAs and the elections at each eVC would be
supervised by the member of the Electoral commissioner of that Faculty.
6.
At each of the eVCs, only the Dean, heads of
departments, faculty president, one SUG representative and 3approved Man ‘O war
representatives (members of Faculty), and 2 UST media representatives would be
