The SUG fiesta continues
this afternoon with a mega students Jeans carnival rally. The rally which
started at about 12:00pm today 16th of May, 2016, actually kick
off from the school love garden and ended at the same love garden.
It was a wonderful one,
as so many performance where made by various dance groups in the campus.
An
interview with some students reveals the happiness and joy derived from the event;
though, the expressions seen on the faces of almost every student that
participated in the rally tell a better story.
Words like, it’s
great! It’s fun! It’s the best, keeps coming up over and over again. A
student in final year went as far as saying that she had never witnessed any SUG rally
that is as entertaining and remarkable as the just concluded one. The fun escalated to
the point that the students extended the rally outside the school campus
into the streets of Port Harcourt, which had never happened for the past eight
years now.
Even the heavy rainfall
proved too mild to prevent the students from dancing and having one of the most
fun experience of their life. The Girls not minding the rain left their
hair unveiled; Boys were at their best having fun, while it
last.--------------
The SUG week
is still fresh as more events will be unfolded. It continues today Tuesday 17th
of May, 2016 with a serminar, at the Amphitheatre….
