Is this the end of the great E-university of the Niger Delta? well the answer is in your hands at the end of this article. There was a time when all an average RSUST student has to do in other to be prepared to take his/her ICT exams was an online Registration of less than 5mins. But is that the case today? Noooooo. The new trend now is that students have to undergo double registration for their IFS courses, the first is online, then they proceed to a long queue at the Directorate of student affairs office to buy a form for N500 with two passport photograph.
Gistmeust had a gist with few students on the queue. Below are some of the response we got from them.
"This new system is just too stressful"
" I don miss my class because of this registration"
"My leg dey pain me oooo" etc
We all know the common saying "there is no smoke, without fire", this implies that there must be a reason for the new system irrespective of the fact that it steals quality time away from students as they spend so much time awaiting their turn on the queue, it also creates a big dent on the reputation of our great E-university, an envy of other institutions within and outside the Niger Delta.
The question becomes, 'is the great E-university not able to collect any new charge for course registration online or is the database not capable of accepting and duplicating the passport photographs of students'?
Well i guess the answers to this questions should be left for our OGA @ THE TOP.
