Information reaching us has it that two students of Imo State Polytechnic have been confirmed dead after a fire incident which occurred in the early hours of today.

This was posted by a facebook user who know both students (names withheld). The user further stated that incident occurred at their lodge in Umuagwo in Owerri, Imo state.

The rate at which students are dying is unbecoming. May their soul rest in peace.
