Rivers State Governor, Ezenwo Nyesom Wike has sacked the General Manager of the state owned Nigerian Tide, Celestine Ogolo, the Managing Director of Rivers State Television, Mrs Dafini Gogo Abbey and her counterpart in the Rivers State Broadcasting Corporation. Others affected include the Head of News, Announcer both of the Rivers State Television (RSTV).
This was made known today by the State Commissioner for Information, Dr. Tam George in a press briefing in Port Harcourt in which he informed that the sack was with immediate effect and therefore directed the sacked officials to hand over to the next in command. No reason was however given for the action.

This is rather unfortunate. Sacking without reasons…? Its Political i guess.
