SUG holds Fresher's reception

After the matriculation that was organized by the University, the Student union Government has decided to take it to another by organizing an official party called ‘Year one Reception’ which was held yesterday 27th Jan., 2016..

The occasion in the presence of the SUG executives other than that of the president Cmr. Gospel wealth who was absent featured many Port Harcourt musical artistes like Tha-Ibiz, Splendid, Izeb and comedians. The event also gave students the chance to showcase their talents.

Speaking on the occasion, the Dean of students’ affairs – High chief Isaac Zeb (Prof) thanked the SUG for organizing such an event for the Fresh students. He explained why students always had extra years during their years of study. He addressed the challenges they are facing in handling the security issues on campus – ‘We lack the Man Power to tackle the security issues for now but we are making sure everything is in order’ He said.
