Student sentenced to jail for being in possession of codeine
Yesterday Justice Zainab Abubakar of a Federal High Court in Kano, Kano State convicted Mudasir Sani Umar, a 400 level student of Geology, to 9 months imprisonment for being in possession of 108 bottles of cough syrups containing codeine.
