University Of Port Harcourt Set To Re-open On The 19th Of June and exam follow

Information reaching me has it that,University of Port Harcourt, after months of closure is set to reopens on Sunday, 19/6/16 and exam commences immediately on the 16th of June, 2016.


This was made known to the public after the senate meeting held yesterday.

Now, all said and done, some development has recently unfolded about the Uniport Saga, which includes:

1. The reckless shooting of Peter Ofurum by security agents visa-avis a protest by a peaceful students.
2.The call for the resignation of Prof.Lale by both National Association of Nigerian Students NANS, Rivers Axis, and the Niger Delta Democratic Youth's Parliament (NDYP).
3.The suspension of Prof.Lale.
4.Prof. Ndowa Lale approaching a law court to stop his suspension by the school Senate.
5.The proposed re-opening of Uniport and the suspension of the controversial payment of fee before examination.

Now, my critical question is? All said and done, while the recent flexibility of the Uniport authorities which should have come earlier, and perhaps would have saved the life of the innocent prodigy. Humans must learn to adjust to realities of life and to save and avoid impending dangers or regretable, costly action.
