Delta govt releases N100m for polytechnic’s stadium project

Delta State Government has released N100 million to facilitate the completion of the stadium of Delta State Polytechnic, Ozoro.

Rector of the polytechnic, Dr. Jacob Oboreh, who disclosed this during the 14th matriculation of the institution, commended the state governor, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa, for his support for the development of the polytechnic and release of funds for its functional operations and prompt payment of staff salaries.

Noting that the polytechnic had become the fastest growing institution in Nigeria with numerous modern architectural structures and befitting facilities, Oboreh said that most of the projects and facilities were funded through internally generated revenue realized between 2012 and 2015.
