The management of the Rivers State University of Science and Technology, Nkpolu, Port Harcourt is set to reopen the portal from the 11th to 25th of this month. This is to enable students who are yet to make their school fee and other related payments to do so.
According to the information contained in a press release made available today by the Students Union Government (SUG) and signed by its Public Relations Officer, Comr. Ezekwere Chisom, said the new deadline for the said on-line payments will be on March 25th 2016.
The statement therefore further urged indebted students to take note and comply accordingly to avoid any academic hitches.
It is worthy of note that this is the first time in a long while that school fee payment which started late last year has been extended to such a long period of time and this may be unconnected to the current economic situation of the State and country at large.
