Acting SUG President Meets with Faculty heads

Information reaching us has it that the acting President of the Students Union Government (SUG) in the Rivers State University of Science and Technology, Comr. Faith Nnaa Barigboto yesterday held a meeting with Presidents of all Faculty Students Associations in the university. The meeting which held at the Presidential wing of the SUG Secretariat was successful as issues bordering on improving the general wellbeing of the students community were discussed with workable solutions provided. our reporter gathered that the meeting which was attended by heads of the seven Faculty Students body in which they

pledged their unflagging support for the current SUG leadership led by the acting President, Comr. Faith Nnaa Barigboto.

 In their different remarks, the Faculty Presidents promised to continually partner with the SUG leadership in pursing and promoting the aims and objectives of the students  body while advocating for a greater involvement of the Faculty heads in the decision making process of the Students Union. They maintained that, for a maximum result to be achieved, there was the need for a cordial relationship between the Students Union Excos and Faculty Heads. This according to them was key to attaining the set goals of the Aluta body while the acting President of the Students Union Government (SUG), Comr. Faith Nnaa Barigboto was said to pledge to work hand in hand with the Faculty Presidents which will consequently lead to peace and progress of the university at large.
